Hey Damian,
Asiana currently flies to Sydney with A330's and they have the old business class product. Unless these flights get upgraded to a 777 or an A380, and given the passenger loads, it is unlikely that we'll see the seats on the route.
With that being said, they do have several A350's on order to replace the older fleet of A330's and unless they decide to go with another product, they will have the Smartium seats - so, hopefully in a few years, we may see the seats, but not a short term possiblity.
I personally find the current seats to be unbearable. Too bad they are the Qantas partner. Korean Air has the edge on ICN routes.

I totally agree! I'm looking at flying April 2017...it's currently showing the flight as a B772...I wonder if they will have all the 777s updated to smartium by then?

I hope there'll be an upgrade too, but with their new aircraft orders, I think the logical capital allocation would be to use the available cash for the incoming fleet, not the existing. Especially in a market like Korea's, where long haul is dominated by two strong carriers.
