Hello Travellers, even if your not the slightest bit interested in aviation, this 3 parter will be abolutely fascinating. It commenced yesterday, well worth iviewing, and stay tuned for the following two weeks. What has gone into this series is breathtaking fact, forget those Airline and Aiport series with irate penny pinching Pommy passengers who have missed their flights, this is just so up to date. Three 1 hour episodes - no adverts, are: Departure, Airbourne and Arrival. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Business travellers will be enthralled.
I'm still getting over that Moscow flight landing in -47C, the tyres had to be immediately covered in special insulative blankets to prevent the rubber from turning brittle and falling to bits, and hot air needed to be pumped continuously into the turbines for the duration of turnaround or else all oil and grease would have ceased being oil and grease. Another interesting fact, at any one time there are 1 million people up in the air...and it's getting busier. From this series we can expect even bigger aircraft in the future, and much bigger airports to handle the huge demand of travel. Oh, BTW, next time your in Europe and they are refuelling your aircraft, it is being directly piped in from Ghent Belguim. (what a fuel pipeline).
Now that the news is out, I suspect ABC iview is struggling with the demand, thank goodness I'm on NBN, couldn't cope with any buffering on such an important program, definetely Aunty's best kept secret. I've seen it three times now. My brother is a QF pilot and he's spreading the word as well. Seems that even pilots are intrigued. as to the facts presented.

I'm quite surprised that the ABC management did not offer a private advanced screening for the Australian Business Traveller Senior Executive team, that would have been a wonderful PR coup on the big screen at their Ultimo studios...

Yay, but somethings not quite right.
Next Tuesday ABC has the 2nd episode for 1 hour, the youtube is 46 min, and the third episode is 41 mins, we are being short changed on youtube.
