FYI for the community - I flew last week to the USA and found that there is no lounge access available for FF or business class passengers prior to the VA6 flight. Apparently Virgin has no agreements in place despite having commenced flying this sector more than 2 weeks prior to my trip. I do recall hearing of problems with restricted lounge access a few months back but wasn't aware this hadn't been sorted for passengers travelling on VA6.

I understand that the issue is that at the departure time of VA6 (morning), the lounge they do have access to isn't actually open.
