I rang Qantas call centre yesterday to change a booking, a new option came up so I can SMS them instead of talking to them, so I tried it out.

I was very impressed, very responsive, able to send screenshots, also it provides a documented transcript so if they make mistakes it is in writing.

Overall, I was very impressed with this service!!! Definitely far better then talking to them on the phone and don’t have to wait on hold.

Does anyone know if this is a permanent addition? Anyone else tried it, thoughts on it?
