• The APD is currently £200 ($385) moving up to $435 so it's $50 extra on a $5-10k ticket. You can argue the validity of APD in general but a 0.5% increase on tickets given RPI isn't really much of a consideration.

  • Things have probably moved on now but for future reference. I too received the $75 voucher but advised it could be used in other stores for example WHS.Ended up with $75 off a pair of new airpods so keep in mind if there is ever a next time! 

  • Hopefully QR will follow suit despite Al Baker's latest comments on their 380 fleet. For me quarantine requirements on return will be the main determinant for demand in 2022 onward. If they can provide a reasonable solution to this ie. home quarantine and negative test after a couple of days...

  • With Australia in mind, I expect ME3 & Qantas will shortly follow suit. With limited slots and massive pent-up demand 2022+ there is a real business case for the next few years at least.Can't wait to get back into the onboard bars!
