Virgin Australia, Virgin Atlantic eye seamless Australia-London travel
Jul 05, 2019, 01:29 PMHave already done an around the world on a Virgin Aus/Atlantic ticket (albeit a VS one). What Virgin Australia should be focusing on is improving their website + App, both are throwbacks from another era and are terrible. Literally takes weeks for points to be deposited and a number of the webs...

Virgin Australia takes aim at Qantas, Cathay Pacific 'monopoly'
Feb 28, 2018, 12:13 PMBut these A330's are all coming off the East-to-West-Coast flights and being replaced by 737's. So what they gain on one route they loose on another :(

Cathay Pacific looks to Aussie growth in 2016
Jan 12, 2016, 05:10 PMAgree on this. Cathay should get no more access to landing slots or anything else until all Australian carriers get the same access (and landing slots) into HK. The fact Cathay can fly 4 times daily into Sydney and Qantas can't even get slots for another daily is bizarre and completel...

Emirates opens new Melbourne Airport business, first class lounge
Jan 04, 2016, 06:16 PMWhat an odious little remark from you traveller99. Feb 10, 2016, 08:16 AMActually Delta flights between LA/SF- NYC have fully flat seats (2-2 on 757 or 1-2-1 on 767) and upgraded catering. Compared with what Qantas serves on a similar flight - Delta wins hands down.

Sep 08, 2015, 08:32 AMI was flying Melbourne-Sydney Business Class on Virgin on Sunday when I tried to bring a guest into the lounge they refused saying they don't allow any guests - even when travelling business.... WTF?

Best Oneworld business class lounge in Melbourne?
Aug 25, 2015, 04:54 PMEK, only because they combine business with first class, so it ups the stakes somewhat. CX don't have lounges in Australia and QF is nice, but it is a business-class lounge with the head-turning first class lounge upstairs.

Why are Qantas Rewards seats for J class so few and far between?
Jul 31, 2015, 06:31 PM"...nothing available except for domestic connections" - really, you don't want to transit domestically to get a FF flight to the US? Not sure if I have a lot of sympathy for you.

Approximately how much more does Premium Economy cost on the Sydney to London...
Jul 09, 2015, 12:29 PMMuch better to go onto kayak.com and do a scan of best available fares as they often come up with cheap J seats at a comparable price. If you are parting with $5K you should be in full recline mode :)
