Noting the PERTH route is their most profitable international route and about 70% of passengers are not transit its hard to see any change there despite all the arm chair experts

I understood the issue at Haneda was the required spacing (ie longer) between aircraft movements adjacent to a380 movements. Thus you lose capacity with a380...ironic in the sense a380 more than make up for that with with increased Pax.

With their A380sDaily - Dallas; London (Via Singapore); up to 3x to LAWith the left over capacity for Melbourne Singapore daily and Syd - Hong Kong.Note these routes are shorter too.

12 aricraft means 5x daily flights given sparring.Geoffrey Thomas is quoted today in The West saying the Perth flight will switch to the A350 which effectively means a daily London and NYC from Melbourne and Sydney is all they can do with 12 aricraft.

SAA rotates both A330s and a340s on the PERTH route which as I understand it is one of their most profitable. The bigger issue is SAA as a going concern as they are corporately in trouble.
