How long will it take to have velocity points credited to your account after you take a hawaiian airlines flight (codeshare with Virgin Australia, booked through Virgin Australia). I flew SYD - HNL on 23/11/13 (last saturday night) and still haven't had them credited. I will get enough to upgrade to gold for my return flight home tomorrow, however now it looks like I won't have my points + SC credited.

It can take anywhere between a few days and a few months :/ Just keep your boarding passes and be prepared to scan and email them to [email protected] when you get back.

suggest printing out your current status and you outward boarding ticket to show you would be gold - this is of course if you want to use the lounge. VA will allocate any bonus to you for being gold once they allocate the points etc to your account

I flew Hawaiian a few months ago, waited three weeks for Virgin to credit my points, it didn't happen, so I emailed them ([email protected]) and they credited them within a few days. You can try emailing them *right this minute* if you like and you just might get your points credited in time.

Thanks guys. I am sitting on 450 SC, and with the 40sc I would have earned for my Syd - Hnl, and family pooling from my girlfriend I should have been over the threshold for 500SC and would get my gold membership, however I don't think I will get it now. Abit frustrating! Some of the issues with Virgin's computer systems are really annoying me now. As much as I bag qantas, one thing they did well was creditting points and a great computer system!

I sent my boarding passes to the emails though! But thanks so much!

Try calling them to see if they will upgrade you based on your recent flights. Can't hurt
