I am planning on renting a car in Italy with Europcar next June and I am trying to get my head around the Insurance options I can take.

Essentially I want to reduce my excess to zero for any collision or damage incidents.

Europcar offer two options:

"Super Loss Damage Waiver:" - SLDW

"Super Collision Damage Waiver" - SCDW

Can anyone explain in "plain English" what the differences are??

I would email them and ask the difference,interpretation  is a funny thing ,especially with Italian's.good luck and enjoy your trip.note if you  have a American Express platinum card I think it comes with a collision waiver,it may be easier and cheaper  to get the card,check it out
