Can anyone help with the business class arrangments in the Helsinki to Singapore route. We are travelling on the 1st April, Finnair say that they are refitting the a340 aircraft with new lie flat beds, but as yet there is no news.
While I'm guessing that the first retro-fitted aircraft will be flying by then, with no word from Finnair, we don't know if it'll be an A330 or A340 and what routes it'll be operating. The SIN route is a bit unfortunate as they seem to like flying their older lease A340s there, and these will be the ones that won't be getting the upgrades, as they'll be retired when the A350s arrive next year.
Currently the flights on 1st April are showing the old seat map.
Looks like some A340s with the new seating are in the system and will be visiting Singapore in April.
Your post is not clear as to whether you'll be flying HEL-SIN or SIN-HEL on 1st April, but at the moment it looks like the SIN-HEL flight on the 1st will have the new seats, while the one from HEL on that date will not.
The seat map on the retrofitted A340s is similar to that already on the A330 OH-LTR, with an extended Business cabin.
