Any Seat Awards you earn points and status credits. Classic Awards do not either points or status credits.

Yes but only when you use points plus pay awards.i think this has taken the place of any seat awards .the main problem with this is the amount of points required is extremely high . I preferred the any seat awards as the points required fluxuated

On the topic of ASAs, is there still the issue of marginal ASAs (i.e. those that book into Classic Award fare classes) being only bookable via phone and not via the website?
