QFFF partner earn rates seem so inconsistent. On the QF website, I can see that points can only be earned on UL and MH between certain destination pairs, and that QR full Y fares only earn 25% per mile... yet flights on AA, CX, BA are not as restrictive.

Why is this? Do any other Oneworld partners limit the points earned to certain destination pairs? It seems strange.

I seems if QF have a relationship with an airline (albeit QANTAS does not have too many friends left in Oneworld) then the rates are better eg. American.  Where there is a frosty relationship eg. Qatar and Malaysian the rates seen quiet poor.

I never really understood why QF has such a bad relationship with CX... can anyone shed any light on why?

Is this before or after the QFF changes?

Are they going to amend the earn rates for travel post 1 July? I'm fine with earning points at a lower rate on cheaper seats, but having route restrictions on partner airlines is stupid.
