No-one really knows but I doubt it. You would be competing with AirAsiaX, and Malaysian which have lower cost bases.
In addition QF already flies too SIN (With 3K connections) and BKK in the region and apart from the 787s (which effectively replace 747s) it has no additional longhaul aircraft on order, so it would likely need to drop other routes to service this one.

You can also jump on a flight to Melbourne and connect with the QF codeshare with Emirates direct MEL - KUL

QF probably feels that SYD-SIN-KUL or SYD-MEL-KUL adequately serve the market. As moa999 said there's plenty of service already between SYD & KUL.
