    Even if QF still had the two extra aircraft they'd still be awaiting the spare parts and outsourced maintenance availability...But someone in Qantas has signed some bad contracts to have these supply issues occur.

    WSI is very much complementary, it's Sydney's 2nd airport for those living in or travelling to Sydney's West, or Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, even Canberra.Kingsford Smith and all its flights aren't going anywhere and will remain Sydney's main airport for decades.

    Qantas would only be able to move you to the Finnair flight if there is award availability there.Alternately from March 2020 QF80 will operate Haneda (HND) to Melbourne (MEL) so they might be able to open up award seating on that, although it would still need a 10hr layover in Haneda Airport, but...
