Changi + Porsche = a high-speed Singapore stopover

Powering a Porsche sports car around an off-street circuit at up to 200km/h might be the best reason yet to skip the airport lounge on your next trip through Singapore.

Now taking shape on a 14-hectare site adjacent to Changi Airport, the Porsche Experience Centre lets you go from terminal to track in just 20 minutes.

And what a track: stretching across 2km are 18 turns of pure adrenaline, including a 20° banked curve where you’ll pull 1.4G of force.

Scheduled to open in 2027, this is one of only three Porsche Experience Centres in Asia – the others are in Tokyo and Shanghai – and includes the country’s first permanent closed road course.

The dynamic track has been designed specifically for demonstrating the prowess of two- and four-door Porsches.

At the core of the sleek, striking structure is a world-first engineering feature: a drive-through track experience.

Drivers will accelerate straight through the building itself before sweeping onto the main straight.

The circuit is peppered with technical challenges intended to hone driver skill, including a double S-curve, a low-friction handling track for mastering under- and oversteer, and a dedicated 80m drift circle.

Beyond the driving thrills, the facility includes a podium event plaza for community gatherings like Cars & Coffee, immersive racing simulators, and themed exhibitions with periodically changing display cars from the legendary archives of the Porsche Museum.

The Porsche Experience Centre complements the ‘Porsche at Jewel’ lifestyle showcase/cafe, now open directly across from the Terminal 1 arrivals hall, which is where travellers will also check in for that heart-stopping track experience.
