I will be travelling with my pregnant wife (31 weeks then) in Jan to Singapore with Qantas. They have bulk head - extra leg room seats for sale and I am happy to pay for them. I rang them two different occasions, one says my pregnant wife will be able to have the seat if available (priority given for baby basinet), the other says not available for pregnant woman at all. Has anyone booked those row 23 J/K or A/Bon Airbus 330-300 to Singapore. It is not highlighted as exit row on the seat map. Anyone has reserved these seats for pregnant wife/partner before?

Yeh, offically they are reserved for people using the basinet and they will only be able to give you one at checkin

Basically they are left until the last minutes at checkin for assignment so that any one who wants a basinet can get one (provided they use it)

As you will not be using it they won't reserve it for you so the only real way is to rock up early to checkin. Some QF status holders may see these seats open depending on the load of the flight.
