Has anyone had any success in the recent past with status matching? I managed to snag the Alitalia match some time back but haven't seen any other status match programs of late.

Thanks!

Airberlin may often match from Alitalia and any other European airlines.

The status match website often provides an insight into who's accepting matches at the time but a lot of them will either want to see a flight activity statement or proof that you've booked some flights with them in the near future

After a fall out with QF in Q1 2016 I wrote to Air NZ and requested a status match for my Qantas Platinum status. They were't willing to give "Elite" but they gave me Gold status straight off  which is a good start. I've made my first return flight in businss class from Perth to Houston via Aukland and was quite impressed. I've got my next two trips to USA booked which will get me to Elite level in Air NZ this year. So the message is simple, "ask and you might receive".

Applied to Avianca Brazil and received status match to QF gold valid  for 16 months since  the application was accepted

Have a look at statusmatcher.com for a bit of general guidance

hi, has anyone had any luck getting status match from Oneworld Alliance to Star Alliance.  I've used my Avianca Brazil but will run out in March & will need to get a status match for afterwards.  Am currently Gold with Qantas.
