These are the countries now that are part of the US Global Entry scheme:

  • Citizens of Colombia
  • Citizens of United Kingdom
  • Citizens of Germany
  • Citizens of the Netherlands
  • Citizens of Panama
  • Citizens of Singapore
  • Citizens of South Korea
  • Mexican nationals

Why is Australia still not on that list? What's holding this up?

Every time I've tried to contact DHS / US CBP on this my questions have always been ignored, so your guess is as good as mine!

Chris, perhaps AusBT could contact Julie Bishop's office for comment? If you tell them you are going to run an article about Australia missing out, they might be more inclined to comment to avoid negative press.

Just a thought.....

That's not exactly how it works, but I actually have that email to DFAT PR on my to-do list for the coming week because this is one we want to look into... :)

Thank you!

Our bases in Darwin should count for something! Particularly with the Chinese being all mischievous in the South China Sea!

The latest list of countries to join GEP include Switzerland, India and Argentina.

Any news if Aussies are getting anywhere with this? Other forums seem to suggest that it is our govt that is holding it back.
