Does anyone know why qantas has been making a stop in BNE from dallas on its way to sydney as QF8, A380. It was scheduled for today, tomorrow and maybe monday. Does anyone why?
Should qantas start a BNE and MEL flight to DFW with the 787-9?
Most likely wind issues over the Pacific. If the jet stream is forecast to be particularly brutal Qantas will factor in the fuel stop in Brisbane so as to minimise how much freight they need to offload (both cargo and SLF).
Keep in mind DFW-SYD began life as DFW-BNE-SYD on the 747 and whilst it's now the A380, it's at the extreme end of the range window.
