I'm so happy to see the options out of Brisbane to the US finally get some proper attention. Honestly, if you were flying any sort of premium to LA or beyond and your choice was a tired A330 and a brand new A350... c'mon Qantas, give us loyal flyers some decent birds or we're not coming back

I think AA's flagship lounges in Chicago and Dallas (the two I've experienced most) are outstanding lounges - equal to Qantas First in Sydney and miles ahead of every other Qantas First lounge I've visited. This update for Washington looks great

Its the old Air NZ lounge from memory. Qantas took it over and refurb'd it so as to use it as a overflow lounge in the mornings. If they're using it again it must mean its getting busy upstairs

FYI - My seat back entertainment system was u/s in economy PER-BNE in August and the CSM organised for 3,000 points to be provided as compensation. 10,00 FFP for a u/s seat long haul feels a bit light. The other issues you've described like crew being late etc - that's travel... shit happens
