Hi Everyone

I am going to be flying back from Perth after a business trip in J on QF10. I know that I will need to carry ID but just wondering if I can use mobile or online check in for this flight or if I need to check in at the airport?

Thank you

If you are allowed to it will show. I often get the message online check in not allowed for this flight. You will need a D or some such on your boarding pass so at some point you will need a paper pass.

In addition it depends on the terminal it stops at in Melbourne if it is the international terminal it will need a D on the boarding pass but if it is domestic then maybe not but the online check in should tell you. If everybody is passport cleared in Perth it may become solely a domestic flight unless it is carrying LA bound passengers

I took the Perth-Melbourne only leg of QF10 a few weeks ago. You cannot check in on line. The flight arrives at the international terminal in Melbourne. Those passengers taking qf10 from London to Melbourne do not clear immigration or customs in Perth. You go through full international style security in Perth (in addition to the regular domestic security to get airside) so you need to watch your aerosols and liquids - the 100ml capacity rule per item applies.
