Hi Folks. On the way top GEO we need to overnight NYC (well JFK). We get into JFK at 142hrs and have to be back there at 0530hrs. So where do you go & stay? We're keen for a walk, a little community, laid back dinner & vibe - hipster haven if possible...and all not too far from JFK. I'm all ears.
Sheraton queens. Laguadia hotel. 20 min taxi to hotel and 3 star. In the heart of the city area and a train 50 meters away. Heaps of restaurants and its little queens china town.

About the LaGuardia Plaza hotel. It's right by LaGuardia airport (free shuttle), but 11 miles (17 km) from JFK.
