issue selecting row 1 or 2 japan airlines business class

Hi all,

I am a Qantas Platinum and flying JAL business Mel-Tokyo-SFO. For some reason I can't pick Row 1 or Row 2, not sure why and have some issues selecting the seats I want when I log into the Jal website. Seats are free but comes up with a error saying I can't select the seat. Anyone had this issue before?

Only JAL elite can book those rows AFAIK. Whenever it errors like that, you can't book the seat.

You can try at OLCI.
