Completely understand why they are looking at this. However this makes it very difficult for those starting regionally and trying to make early morning flights or anytime connections to the rest of europe/long haul. People will definitely need far more time for their travel.

Just hit LTG a few weeks ago. I have a few years of travel ahead which will keep me at Platinum but I’m sure in time when I stop LTG will be nice.

I tried yesterday. Seems my AUH - MEL flight in J is on a 2 class 777. Maybe Sydney has the 3 class config but i have been assigned a seat thats only available in the 2 class 777. My flight is late July for reference.
