Am interested if there's a view on whether Qantas will look at running double SC promos... they use to be a regular occurrence. I'm grateful for the status support over the past 2 years though I think the retaining the higher levels without a promo will be challenging given the travel hurdles faced now, reduced biz international travel etc... though I would understand that is possibly what Qantas is happy to occur after subsidising status levels and pushing points redemption hard... thanks...
They probably will do one in February or March next year, I suspect. By then school holidays will be over and we'll be past a lot of the pent up demand for international travel.
