It’s easy to convert your ANZ Rewards credit card points into Cathay Pacific Asia Miles – the CX version of frequent flyer points which you can use to book flights or upgrades to premium economy, business class and even first class with Cathay Pacific.

Points are converted on a 3000:1000 basis (or 3:1) from ANZ to Asia Miles, so for every 3,000 ANZ Rewards points you have, you’ll get 1,000 Asia Miles.

Transfers can be made in multiples of 1,500 ANZ Rewards points with a minimum transfer of 3,000 ANZ Rewards points each time – giving you the option to convert 3,000/4,500/6,000 ANZ Rewards points, and so on.

Simply visit the ANZ Rewards website, click ‘Transfer now’ on the Asia Miles page and then log in to your ANZ Rewards account, confirm your Asia Miles membership number, how many points you’d like to transfer and you’re good to go.

Points will usually arrive in your Asia Miles account within 18 days of requesting the transfer, although in some cases your points may arrive sooner.

There’s no upper limit to how many ANZ Rewards points you can convert across, so if you convert some points to Asia Miles and discover you need more, just make a second transfer.

Unlike some banks, ANZ also employs the same conversion rate across all of its ANZ Rewards credit cards: so whether you have the ANZ Rewards Black, ANZ Rewards Platinum, ANZ Rewards or the new ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures card, the rate remains 3000:1000.
