Can anyone enlighten me as to which are the best seats for a couple. The seats in first class are offset rather than directly adjacent to each other. Also some seats have a barrier on the aisle side while others do not.  

The layout is extremely couple or business associate unfriendly. My husband likes a window seat and it looks as though the only adjacent seats without a barrier between, although you are separated by the aisle, are 1K and 2F, 3K and 4F or 5K and 6F!  Not conducive to watching movies together...

It seems those travelling together have lost out on two counts with the new configuration. Surely Qantas would have done some research on the percentage of people travelling together before installing such a couple unfriendly layout.On the A380 one has the benefit of a window seat and both can ch...
