Can't imagine an Auckland arrival time of 1:15 a.m. would be very popular. I recall a few years back Qantas offered an Adelaide-Auckland direct flight, with arrival time also in the small hours. It was cancelled a few months later due to lack of passenger support.

I fly regularly Adelaide-Auckland-Adelaide. Air NZ offers a no-stop service. To fly Qantas means changing planes at any of the Eastern seaboard cities. So Air NZ wins on convenience. But dropping lounge access from the Works Deluxe option was a terrible decision. Cu...
