    They really need to do a 15" version minus the touch bar, no need for such a gimmick. I would prefer a tactile esc key (especially for those in IT that use vim) in lieu of the touch bar.

    If you are on a single itinerary with your DFW to SYD and SYD to PER flights, you "should" be able to check it in at the domestic transfer desk at Sydney T1 as the bag should be tagged all the way to PER.     From what I can tell without having status with United your options are limited. You can purchase a one day pass to the United club for $59 through the United app or at club locations which is fairly steep but if you are desperate that may be your only option.
