I flew back from LAX last week and it was packed like Sardines.What is the point of spending over $20K a year to get Platinum when you can pay $200 maybe 2 or 3 times a year to access the F lounge? Qantas just cheapening an already subpar product.

Better than....? Plane? No Staff - definitely not Service? No Seat - absolutely not. I struggle so see ANY reason one would choose QF over SQ, EK, QR or EY. Unless the brainwashing of a 'Gold' status on QF is clouding peoples rationale decision making?

And yet people still choose Qantas on this route?!

So how it's called First Class is beyond me. QF product in F is like J on SQ or QATAR
