It certainly looks like maintaining a gold status in Europe for the lounges, service on the ground etc, but certainly not worth forking out for "business" class across any of the carriers.

This is reflective with the swap in fare prices, with QR now becoming a lot more expensive ex-Perth. Looks like QR is mopping up those remaining passengers quite nicely.

The flight is operated by a 737-800. It's the same as you would get everywhere else in the country. Sure, if you're happy to have a recliner.

I recently redeemed points for a business seat on VAs A330 from Brisbane - Perth. The flight was subsequently downgraded to a 737 and retimed 20 mins whilst retaining the same flight number. Of course that meant going from one of the best business products to arguably one of the worst...
