Had a beer there last Friday evening, while waiting for friends to arrive from ADL. Nice that it's tucked away at the end of the concourse. Convienient that most ADL flights also arrive and depart down that end. ?

Happened to me a few times flying out of SYD. As you entered the boarding gate you were taken aside to (a barely) screened off area, given a pat down and a hand luggage search. No big deal.
