I wonder if I’ll be able to use the lounge as well when flying to SIN on SQ in J on the 23rd. The article says trans-Tasman passengers but there are also other *A flights departing from SYD. Can’t see why not unless SQ isn’t paying NZ for lounge access.

Am disappointed that this offer excludes those with status end dates between Jan and Feb 2022. So had my membership year ended 30 days earlier, I would have been eligible for a free 1 year extension and 40% SC rollover till Dec 2022, but now I have to get 600 SC in 2021 to retain status through t...

Yes but how long before the "so little deaths from corona" turn into "big deaths from corona"? 3 months ago, the US had a few hundred deaths, now they have 130,000 dead, and that's with lockdowns in place. Are we really having to explain the infectiousness of this virus?"Just lock down the unheal...

One has to hope that with all the social distancing requirements and the limited capacity in lounges that Qantas might favour its own FFs over other partner airlines, especially if people like QR are dishing out status matches like candy at a doctor's office.Though give the current state of thing...

Just wondering if Qantas would still consider classic upgrade rewards even if the pax is already checked in through OLCI. Friend is travelling PEK-HKG-SYD, with PEK-HKG on CX and HKG-SYD on QF. Since CX opens OLCI 48 hours in advance, and they would be checked in all the way to SYD, would QF stil...

I'd go Vietnam Airlines over China Southern any day. Their long-haul fleet is modern and the service is friendly - I consistently find that the onboard service delivered by VN to be excellent. Are they on par with CX, JL and NH, no, but for the low fares that you can score with them you can't com...

We were just travelling from Madrid to Marrakech and thought I'd share the grossly incompetent service offered by Iberia to their premium customers. At check in, we queued up in the Business check in queue, where a single check in agent took 8mins to process a group of 3 passengers travelling on a...
