For reasons unknown, I do not receive any marketing material from my VA/Velocity account although all the boxes in the preferences section of my account are ticked.
over a period of months, I have tried:
calling velocity;
unsubscribing and re-subscribing; and
emailing - [email protected], with stock standard responses in reply that I am the one who follows up after a week or two.
This problem is an issue for me because I have missed out on emails that are important such as double status credits promotions etc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, even if anyone has a contact in IT at VA who I can ask.
Same here. I think it may have been caused by clicking on an unsubscribe link in one of the Velocity emails some time ago. But it seems that re-subscribing does not bring these emails back.

Yeah, surely there is a fix for this.
I have even tried changing my email address to an alternative email address with the same problem. This proves the issue is not with the email server on my end, but with Velocity
Sorry... but do U really want a pile of irrelevant e mails per day????
The 'My Preferences' of the Velocity portal allows you to tailor what types of comms you would receive. For example, you may wish to opt-out of receiving the Travel Partner emails, but you may still wish to opt-in to receiving the Monthly Statement email and Member Updates for Gold/Platinum...

Same here. I think it may have been caused by clicking on an unsubscribe link in one of the Velocity emails some time ago. But it seems that re-subscribing does not bring these emails back.

Yeah, surely there is a fix for this.
