Hi all. Just facebooked VA regarding the pending Hobart lounge. Here's the transcript:
Me: Is there a start date for a Hobart lounge? Where in the terminal will it go?
VA: Hi, due to continuing construction at the Hobart airport, I don't have any update on the Hobart lounge as of yet. I wish I could tell you more, but no further information is available at the moment. Can't wait to welcome you to it!
"Continuing construction at Hobart Airport" ??? I can't think of ANY construction going on at Hobart Airport. Let's hope that a new VA Lounge is announced as part of an overall redevelopemnt of the terminal. The current terminal is way too small for Hobart's needs. Tomorrow, for example, there are over 25 departures out of HBA. The terminal just doesn't cope.
