Does anyone know precisely when the new Qantas lounge opens in Hong Kong?

Does anyone know precisely when the new Qantas lounge opens in Hon Kong? QF are still quoting only "March". I am leaving on a trip tomorrow that lobs me into HKG on 24 March so hopefully it's going then...

RR: Qantas has not officially announced the opening date for the new Hong Kong lounge, but if you'll be flying through there on March 24, you're out of luck. At least you can check out Cathay Pacific's The Wing or The Bridge.

As it happens, yes - but if you're thinking of catching me by casually asking when I'll be flying to HKG next, I won't fall for that :)

Yes, if you're a platinum you should still go to the first lounge at the wing after the QF lounge opens. If you're gold it might be a harder decision.

OneWorld status will get you a nice selection of lounges in Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific's The Wing Business lounge is fantastic, love the Noodle Bar, but I think the Qantas lounge could give this one a run for its money. But they are not too far apart, maybe 15 minutes walk allowing for your carry-on wheelie bag and the crowds, so you should have a chance to try both.
