Hi, just wondering when flying emirates first ex sydney do they use the qantas first lounge? Any reviews on the first lounge is it worth an upgrade from J to sample it?

EK first or platinum customers can use the first lounge in Sydney.

Indeed, EK F ex-SYD qualifies for QF F Lounge access.
The lounge has been so extensively reviewed, photographed, chronicled, threaded, reported on and generally talked about that it is easily one of the best-known flagship lounges in the frequent flyer community.
I personally recommend this FlyerTalk report by matthandy in 2012 and this AusBT report by the David in 2011.
Please note the menu changes seasonally.

You can find plenty of information on the First lounge and it is a world class, magnificient lounge.. but it is just a lounge and it is not somewhere you are going to spend hours and hours in so if you are asking if it is worth upgrading just for the lounge then no... but if you are upgrading to get the full experience of the First Class product on the plane then the lounge is a great addition to that experience.
