I see you are doing research on airline branding,may i refer you to CAPA..Center for Asia Pacific Aviation.I am a member,but you can still access the CAPA web site and once there click on the free trial button..no credit cards involved.You should then be able to acess most of the site.There are a number of articles on airline branding/alliance branding.The authors vary from former airline CEO,S,excutivies,branding experts and aviation policy lectures.I trust this will assist you in your research.

One thing I believe that is hurting their 'branding' significantly is the inconsistency of their product across aircraft types. It's a lottery as to whether you're on a refreshed aircraft or not, and for some routes, this can be particularly painful.
