I recently got status matched by Etihad for Gold from QF Platinum. Does Etihad card give access to Virgin domestic lounges in Australia. I have no status with Virgin and would normally fly economy with them in Australia and one route - mainly to Bali from Perth on international side - in economy.

Yes you will now have access yo all Virgin Australia lounge access by producing your Ethiad Gold card at the reception.

Honestly, while I'm all for discussion, this is really the kind of thing that takes about five seconds to google the answer. 

Sure, I could tell you the answer (it's yes) but if you'd googled "virgin australia etihad gold" for yourself then you'd have found the page which tells you other useful stuff about flying VA with EY status, like baggage allowances and priority this-and-that.
