Has anyone been offered double QFF Status Credits recently? What appears to be the criteria for this desirable offer?

Qantas had an offer last month for 50% more status credits. The qualification period has well and truely passed.
I've not seen a double status points offer for a while - but I'd like one! Not sure what criteria they use as when I've received it in the past its been via a direct email vs publicising it widely

I didn't see the earlier post re another member receiving the offer - as I noted above - it's done on the hush with no clear qualifying criteria (I've received one as Gold and one as Platinum...)

Hi Mark,
Have had Gold status for a few years, but never a whisper about bonus SC's! Will phone them tomorrow to see what they say, although not expecting any good to come of it.

I had an email offer last Thursday regarding this. Had to book within a week or so and fly by Jan 2015 ( from memory). Not good for my June plans next year unfortunately. I'm Gold FF. Previously when my wife as a Bronze FF had an offer and I tried to book I was denied! Seems to be v specific targets.
