Why has Air NZ taken 787-9 Dreamliners off Perth-Auckland route? I was checking my plane tracker app today and saw that the usual Dreamliner had been replaced with a 767-300. Is this just temporary, although we are heading towards christmas.

Their third 787 delivery has been delayed I believe. The 767's are just a temporary messure and the 787's should be back to daily shortly.

Technical issue with one aircraft. Should be back in service today.
