Your rolling 12 month staus credits (those that allow you to move from red>silver>gold>plat) will continue to drop off as per normal over the course of the pause but once the 6 month pause ends your status is renewed for a further 12 months.
Bit confusing but much easier to explain using actual dates.

Yep. My partner's membership pause has just completed. It's a good feature if you are not going to be flying.
