Wondering about the meal service in Premium trans tasman on Air NZ. What can I expect when I travel next month, both morning services?

I travelled in Business Premiere the other year and got a very nice meal - most commentary suggests quite decent F&B at the pointy end on NZ.

Hi,

Business Class/Business Premier passengers receive the full premium meal service on trans-tasman and pacific Island flights. It is four course (appetiser, main, dessert and cheese/crackers to finish). All are accompanied by great New Zealand wine (choose the Central Otago Pinot Noir) except for the Champers which is usually either Mumm or Tattinger offered.

Ecomomy (including works, works deluxe and those seated in premium economy) receive just the standard white or red meat options etc you know the drill.

Food wise the evening flights are a bit more comprehensive per se, but that is just my opinion.

Air NZ Long Haul flights have much a better selection, but considering a trans-tasman is only 3-4 hours, the offering surpasses most other offerings.

Enjoy

Expect something like the following (this was a menu I had last year)

A smoothie with Banana and Honey or a Juice

Then (From the pantry)

Fresh Fruit Salad

Natural Yoghurt

Fruit Yoghurt

Fruit and grain Muesli

Tosted Cereal

Then (From the Bakery)

Croissants, Vogel's, Fruit Toast or Muffins with your choice of Marmalade, Jams or Vegemite

Then (From the Stove)

Chorizo and Feta Omelette with spiced tomato chutney and mustard cress salad

Pancakes with cinnamon spiced rhubard, cream fraiche and vanilla syurp

Meant to clarify this. I booked a Works ticket, but paid extra for seating in the Premium economy cabin.

Will that entitle me to the Premium Econ meal service and priority check in?
