Hey folks,
I am flying from SFO to JFK in First Class on American later this year and I am connecting in SFO from another airline. Do you know how early I can check my bags in as I arrive at 2pm and depart 10:45pm.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

AA checkin counters at SFO are open all day as there is ongoing departures throughout the day. You should have no problem checking your bags in at 2pm for your redeye flight. Remember that First Class still wont get you into the Admirals Lounge unless you have status. (Also of note the terminal that AA flies from doesnt have much to do for 8hrs! Trust you have something inmind to pass the time....)

First class on AA's premium transcon 3-class aircraft is actually eligible for Admiral's club access (it's actually eligible for Flagship First access as well)

Definately check your bags then get the BART downtown - shopping, sight seeing, and dinner, then back to SFO for the flight..!

You CAN access the Admirals Club or Flagship Lounge if you fly the following AA transcon route in Business or First class:
LAX-JFK
SFO-JFK (your flight)
LAX-MIA
Please refer to AA's page for more info: http://www.aa.com/i18n/utility/trans-con-access.jsp
If your First Class flight is on an AA 3-class A321T (Transcon), you will get to use the LAX Flagship Lounge, which I would recommend you to check it out.
Happy travels.
