Will be flying with Thai soon and I want to know if there are USB ports and/or AC ports in the Economy cabin of the b777's and a380's I looked on the TG website however the FAQ's seem quite outdated so I thought I'd ask for a more up to date answer.

Heyya,
their newer 777 and their a380 product has USB connection available. I don't think any AC power is available but correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes flew the 777 300ER from Melbourne recently and it had USB, can't remember about AC

Keep in mind that some USB ports do not charge some appliances. Most notorious example is iPad. In fact I do not recall if I was able to charge it via USB in any aircraft. So in some instances AC is your only hope.
