Does anyone know how long it is to walk from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 and 1 at AUH and do you have to clear customs.

Does anyone know how long it is to walk from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 and 1 at AUH and do you have to clear customs. Eg. If you were in Transit and needed to go from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1, do you need to clear customs?

Hello OI647, the time to walk between terminal 1 and 3 is about 15 minutes. Not 100% sure about clearing customs though. You could try googling the Abu Dhabi airport and emailing them or checking out abudhabiairport.ae airport website

I walked from terminal 3 to terminal 1 and was told 10 min but I did it in about 6-7 min at a brisk pace.  You only need to clear security going back from terminal 1 to terminal 3.

Just back from Abu Dhabi, and it very much depends on your time and day -- and whether you're in business/first class. 3 to 1 is pretty swift, but 1 to 3 can be a huge queue. Business and first class pasengers can skip the queue (which backs up past the travelator) by walking down the left hand side, bearing left and looking for the black "business and first class" pillar.
