Is there a noodle bar in the CX "The Cabin" and "The Pier" lounges at HKG?

There's a noodle bar at The Pier but not The Cabin - but where you really want to head is The Wing, it's got a great noodle bar and the recent refurb makes this worth checking out.

Thanks David. I did visit The Wing earlier this year and absolutely loved the noodle bar. However I did not find that lounge to be as cosy as the QF/BA one. But I am gagging for some of those noodles so I'll probably visit it again this week! Cheers.

If you want 'cosy' then The Pier woud be best bet, The Cabin can be very busy and buzzy, and The Wing is much the same at peak times... but you can't beat the Noodle Bar for a snack followed by coffee at The Loft!

Does anyone know exactly when the new CX First Class lounge opens at HKG?  It just says late 2012 and I am departing from HKG in First Class on 29 November and hoping the new lounge has opened.

It's actually early 2013, officially "first quarter" but I'm sure they'd love it to be before Chinese New Year (Feb 10).

Yes, but CX PR tells us different, and in this press release issued in June the last par indicates same:

"The First Class lounge is currently being refurbished, and The Wing renovations will be completed in full by the first quarter of 2013."
