It depends if the service provider has a roaming service. If they do, then check with them what you have to do and if they have any conditions. If they don't have roaming then you can't use it in Australia. Mostly you will have to activate it overseas first before it can be used here or anywhere.

yes well it really depends if the prodiver you are with has a roaming server. If you do, just check with them about what you have to do, and if there are any certain conditions. but if they dont have a roaming service, then you can't useit in Australia. Usually you;ll have to active it overseas before it can be used at all.
