Apologies for disrupting the initial QA, just a quick answer for Kim:
I'm assuming that discussion went against some of the AusBT rules, which I think is fair enough. Regardless, the offer in question ended very quickly and you wouldn't be able to find it anywhere now anyway. Not sure if it was a fluke or a very quick way to fill up empty seats on their new HK and LAX flights but that's just speculation.
Kim: The Virgin Australia fare topic was hidden for a short period while
we determined whether or not this was a 'commercial post' which would be
against our Comment Policy. Once we established that this was indeed not
the case as the offer was available through multiple travel
agents (not just one external website), it was restored: well before the great offer ended. :)
As to starting a new discussion, just browse to the relevant topic (e.g. Oneworld where you originally posted your message) and click 'Start a Discussion'.
Does everything go for moderation prior to showing up in the forums? I just tried to lodge a new discussion thread in Chrome and then Safari, and I then keep getting error messages back once I hit 'Post'
