Quick question, has anyone heard any updates on when the Virgin Aus BNE International My Lounge will be opening in May? I am flying VA BNE to AKL next Sunday night and have a couple of free lounge passes, would love to use them then for dinner and some work before the flight, but VA has been mute about this lounge for a while.
Have AirNZ/Skyteam Gold and AMEX lounge passes but both of those are useless in BNE with VA as far as I know.
I haven't heard anything new regarding the opening date, but I don't think your VA lounge passes would work at the 'My Lounge' anyway, since it'll be operated by a third party, not Virgin Australia.
Plus, the T&Cs for the lounge passes say they are for domestic lounges only, unfortunately.
If you have a Priority Pass card, it can be used for entry to the Plaza Premium Lounge in Brisbane's international terminal. Separately, if you have an AMEX Platinum Charge Card, AMEX Centurion Card or a Diners Club-issued Diners Club card, those cards can also be presented at the Plaza lounge for complimentary access when flying with any airline.
If you have Virgin Lounge and AMEX Lounge passes though, I suspect you have the AMEX Velocity Platinum Card, which is not eligible for complimentary Plaza Premium Lounge access.

Passed through Brisbane last week and maybe I didn't look hard enough but I couldn't see anything down that end of the terminal?
